Loved
Deep within my heart exists a desire to be loved by you;
To be immersed by the pastels of lavender and faded blue.
Friendship divine, deep into the heart I look all around;
Seeking someone who ignites wisdom within so profound.
Deep into the soul I plunge, looking to find that mirror;
Someone whose insight allows me to see so much clearer.
That special person whose faith will keep me standing strong;
That someone that makes me feel loved, like I do belong.
Another human soul reaching out along the same plane;
Together overcoming life's pit falls, overcoming life's pain.
Reaching out in the night to simply sit and hold your hand;
Someone who sees my innocence, and fully does understand.
To be loved as I emerge from the cocoon of self isolation;
Who can join me in the fireworks of a wonderful celebration.
Our love developing into a new creation by God's willingness;
To be loved, cherished, and empowered; peace enters, then stillness.
