Treasured Life
Christ has given life onto you,
When you were dead from what you do;
Through your wrongdoing and your sin,
That corrupted you deep within.
You were living just in the past,
Such pleasure in having a blast;
Enjoying the ways of this earth,
In the recreation of mirth.
Giving way to the desires,
A short term joy it acquires;
Entertaining the flesh and mind,
A limited time to spellbind.
But God full of mercy and love,
Even though we are dead thereof;
Willing to forgive and forget,
By paying off all our debt.
So from death since we have come back,
He gives salvation that we lack;
And we can have another chance,
Unto Heaven we can advance.
While the time is drawing near,
When everything is made clear;
Our faith will know the pleasure,
Through His grace about the treasure.
