New Horizons?
A sunbeam is casting through the window
shining like a bright new horizon...but
in reality it is false and hopeless -
forlorn and undertaken into depths of despair
Smiles are false luxuries reserved for some -
alone there is chaos and mayhem in my life
silence is my new enemy, an invisible, invincible force -
I tread the day step by step in mayhem
For mayhem follows me stabbing and probing my every move
even though I put up my steel barrier this thing still penetrates...
A sunbeam is casting through the window
penetrating my soul, conscripting my mind
I know when this beam disappears, and
the night arrives another world appears before me
One of mayhem, solitude and screams...
those Demons arrive, they play games with me
I resist most times -
But, one of these nights I know I that...
I will succumb to their wishes -
