Down through the ages there's been many champions
Even they'd agree compared to Christ they're all has beens
For He is the true champion over all of the world
Still casting down strongholds and Ruler of the earth
His Story is our History long ago prophesied
To be the champion that overcome the father of lies
Taking back the keys to death,hell,and the grave
After He shed His blood for mankind to be saved
King Jesus is the undefeated champion forever more
Seated at the right hand of the heavenly Father to adore
Yet through this victory He always remained humble
Unlike some worldly champions that tend to stumble
As they forgot all good gifts come from above
Failing to glorify God's wonderous agape love
However the champions that give God the glory
Always seem to prosper when you hear their story
It blesses my heart to honor my Lord and King
Upon His resurrection He became the Almighty Champion
For He is our Redeemer as History was foretold
I praise you Champion Jesus for making satan a defeated foe

"The redeemed of the Lord shall return,
