5 Tanka/    Eden

Tranquil garden calls
Shaded pathway leading in
Trees whisper softly
Speak of sensual delight
Moonlight on water shimmers

Five seeds form a star
Crimson blush upon fair cheeks
Luscious firm white flesh
Innocent offering made
To taste the knowledge of shame

Sheltered in her tree
Dove clings to verdant branches
Tightly holding claws
Feathers rustle with the wind
Hears a falcon's lustful cry

Tiny candles glow
Glimmers of light intriguing
Bounce through darkened woods
Fireflies dancing in the air
Like changing constellations

Moss covered rotting
Hardwood melting into earth
Soft flesh now decayed
Gives sustenance to many
Greedy sucking mouths devour
