My days as a younger woman.
Has brought many challenges my way.
For the most part of my experiences.
Has made me what I am today.

Many years have come and gone.
I have lived as a wife and mother.
As I reminisce through my younger years.
I wouldn't have traded it for any other.

Now I done the best I could.
As a wife; I carried out my part.
Sometimes it wasn't always easy.
But I done the best I could from the start.

Although sometimes it felt like.
Time was standing still.
When I learned from the mistakes I made.
I knew my life would be fulfilled.

As a mother I had always felt needed.
The experience was worth it all.
Unlike any other feeling in the world.
Being a mother; definitely was my call.

Being on my own;
For the past ten years.
I have learned a lot on my single journey.
I have learned to conquer life as it appears.

So as I sit here reminiscing.
Years of trials and fears.
My role as wife and mother.
Has brought me through the years.
