This Ones For Him
This week has placed so many thoughts
The least of them is He that sought
My soul to change and know of Him
Him who payed with life my sin
Forgiveness mine and yours He laid
Upon a cross our world still slaves
With flesh that spoils each passing day
Seems like we love to rot this way
Today, this week some time ago
JESUS cried Father and made it so
Your soul would have a place to rest
Amongst Angels and nothing less
We paint pictures but not draw CHRIST
Upon our hearts that live in blight
Failing to grasp the act that saved
Mankind the worst of sins still waged
Prayers will rise more so this week
With faith our hope is when we speak
Of things today His name will rise
Above what eats mans soul alive
This ones for Him and you and me
Who loves us both eternally
So give Him thanks and praise the one
Who gave His best for man bar none
May those of you that do not know the LORD
come to know Him who knows you...God bless
