 Since You Left
Since you left, Two's control room is much quieter these days;
But I still hear the echoes of laughter, see the smile on Milton Mays.
Your time is now filled with paw- paw duties and many honey- do's;
All those years of separation, holiday's lost, gone are those blues.
You will miss ‘Blind Lemon Pledge' on his harmonica, playing a song;
Scott Lee's popcorn, Scott Harris' keeping you from going wrong.
Wesley's nose, Eddie's smile, Randy's gentle nature, and even Bear;
These days are now passed, replaced by the memories of being there.
We that remain at the mill without you will have to endure the greatest loss;
You are now a retiree, you hung up your boots, Ed is no longer your boss.
Being a beacon of joy , you brought so much to us through that gate;
Ask any one of us, you would be one of the best ever we would rate.
Veteran, hero, husband, father, grandfather, friend; all of these and more;
Walking into your destiny of freedom from the mill, through that open door.
We just wish to say to you once more before you ride into that golden sunset;
Larry, we love you, and we miss you; you will never be replaced, this you can bet.
