THE  NURSING  HOME

TODAY I WENT TO SEE MY BROTHER,
HE DIDN'T LOOK TOO BAD.

IT MADE ME HAPPY TO VISIT HIM,
THE ONLY SIBLING, I EVER HAD.

WE TALKED ABOUT THE GOOD OLD DAYS,
SOMETHING WE BOTH LIKE TO DO.

THEY LET HIM USE HIS SCOOTER THERE
IT GIVES HIM SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.

MY TWO SONS TOOK ME TO VISIT HIM,
I COULD NEVER GET THERE ALONE.

I FEEL SO BAD HE HAS TO BE THERE,
I KNOW HE'D RATHER BE HOME.

BUT WHO CAN SAY---HE HAS A STRONG WILL
AND HE'S DETERMIND TO MAKE IT OUT.

SO LET'S SAY " HOORAY" FOR HIM TODAY
AND BE GLAD HE CAN STILL GET ABOUT.
