Prayers to the One
I am seeking relief for someone tonight,
I speak out into the darkness around me.
Reaching up with my voice to the Most High,
Grasping at the answer to the question.
Asking for solutions out of the unknown,
I am lifting prayers to the One.
I seek out the answer from the universal soul,
Whether God, Krishna, Buddha, Gaia, or Yahweh.
The soul of this universe has many faces and names,
But the power is there for all only for the asking.
As the One reaches back to us when we ask,
I am lifting prayers to the One.
My words are always heard and answered in time,
But the answers are sometimes not as I asked.
For the wisdom of the One will not be overshadowed;
My desires are just that, my desires.
The greater good of all creatures is always considered,
I am lifting prayers to the One.
This will never stop me from petitioning for the ones I care for,
I reach out for them along with many other souls joining.
We can create a place within this present moment
Where the divine and our humanity meet and are empowered.
Creation of a new reality is possible through my prayers,
I am lifting prayers to the One.
The One's authority will allow us to create within karmic laws,
Superseding the power of mankind's kings and queens.
The container of a new reality is within my prayers,
Moving with the power of universal forces, returning with life.
I intercede for your benefit, asking for your blessing,
I am lifting prayers to the One.
