Petals In The Grass

Burial Shroud

Never been one who followed a crowd
Very hushed I'm never loud
Not much pride, rarely proud
Stood rebellious back unbowed
Conceding to others I've never allowed
Above my head an eternal dark cloud
Walking about in my burial shroud
These are the truths I've avowed
