 And Still...
Somewhere in this big world,
There's a tear in someone's eye,
How it got there could be anybody's guess,
What went wrong? What made them cry?

Was it a love gone wrong?
A lover's last kiss?
Did the bearer take the cross?
Or did they just resist?

And still…

Somewhere there is a tear
That needs to dry,
Hold your head up,
No need to cry…

Let the tears wash away
With the rain,
Let your soul resist
The pain…

And still…

You stand alone
Waiting by the phone
For that lover's call
Waiting for the news
To fall…

And still…

This great big world
Keeps on turning,
Never noticing your
Heart is burning…

And still…

There goes the pain
With the rain
The sunshine lingers like
A long lost friend
Believe me,
You will smile again…
