Bora born

Bling _

Run then turned in a sideways stride
loose clothes a flurry of desire.
Bare feet retread their tender skin
on summer pavers monsoons sting.

A suffi twirl air rides her glide
spirit freed, inhibitions fired.
Faraway looks search behind eyes
backlit by worlds seldom despised.

A friend trails, in her pleasure zone
a cryptic mirror framed in stone.
Rigid digits half tell his tale
a body in language prevails.

Stripped of freedoms the childlike kind
he chases her vapour with smiles.
The right stuff to ground her; he winks
a balanced equation he thinks.

Attention to detail still finds
his need to mind what fiction hides.
Fleshed out in practised measured tones
too much he re-enters her zone.

His shadow, still cleaves to the ground
the predictable rhythm bound
by a pattern tempered by fate
through swell ideals locked behind gates.

Hers flutters about touched by light
a crazy love of life in flight.
Her thoughts sweep sideways, his dead straight
with no idea their fates won't mate.
