Small Talk

Chatter, Chatter goes on all day
I wonder what it is
You are trying to say,

I see you all everywhere I go
Is there something your not telling me
Is there something I should know?

I can see you whispering in her ear
Are you telling her
Somehting I'm not meant to hear,

I know you are all talking about me
You are making that very clear,

Whenever I come close to you
You all seem to disappear,

Be careful what it is
You all say and do,

For tomorrow they could all
Be talking about you
