We walked as friends
together many a day
It was I who taught how
important it was to pray
I shared my faith and
gave you all I had
WHY don't you know
it wasn't me who made you sad
my best friend your trials
were given from above
why then have you withdrawn
from me your precious love?
This phony friendship I now
must accept torments my mind
you say you love me
in public places you

but the coldness and the truth
