 Bouncing off Snow
(this is a bouncing poem, which means every other line is from another poet, and I respond with my own line. It's a call & response form poem)

Bouncing off Snow(Bouncing poetry on a snowy night at the Mercury Café)

Destiny getting the best of me
And now I am nothing but weary
With the drama's & demons of my heart
I fear my dreams will never start
We can't see the fire, but we can smell the smoke
And everyone's looking for the toke
I need your “strong back” excursion
To help me forget this incursion
Like snakes dancing in clear water
Just to remind me of the poison in my daughter
Drifted into never-ever land
I shan't ever again, hold her hand.
