 ramblings and things

Sitting in a darkened room
Painting doorways on the wall
Each securely locked but
One key will open all

hatches of infinite possibility
each bending time and space
so stepping through the folds
leads to unspecified place
courage is need
to travel so far
maybe a vacuum death
maybe the heart of a star
maybe just maybe paradise
enticingly out there
maybe what is needed
is a mind beyond care
to escape
maybe die
but maybe live
so i shall try
there is emptiness
there is nothing here
the prospect of the void
now holds the lesser fear

I am choosing I am choosing
Which is the proper one
My chosen doorway opens
That first step and I am gone
