Precious Holy Spirit invade my family
Pour out your spirit that they will clearly see
The word says we must bear fruit or be cast away
Precious Holy Spirit renew their minds I pray
They know John 3:16 but don't realize it don't stop there
For the devil believes yet his works are mankind's snare
We are told not to be conformed to the things of this world
To be changed by the renewing of our minds on your word
As we've been taught we're saved by grace through faith
But faith doesn't grow unless we do what the word saith
God is to be first in all the Christians lives
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of being wise
Faith worketh by love and the hearing of God's word
Without faith it is impossible to please God for sure
He tells us to be doers of His word not hearers only
That we might prosper in life and be in health eternally
Train up a child in the way He should go when old He won't depart
I myself had to repent of this cause back in the day I fell short
My people perish for lack of knowledge, I know now to be truth
I hold out hope my children will guide their children unto you
The enemy is seeking whoever he may devour
Father God pour out your spirit to give them your power
Put the desire in their heart to seek you in this hour
I want them to intimately know you in reverence and honor
Whatever I may have taught them I pray they'll remember
That is in Godly wisdom your love, mercy and grace so tender
For as it is written no man is promised tomorrow
My desire is they live abundantly in your will and honor
I recall how Jesus prayed for us before He was slain
That the ones God gave Him with Him they'd remain
Not only did Jesus suffer but pleaded for us first
How great is His love that He thought of us before our birth
He deserves all honor and glory in our lives
To remain in the world's way is following the father of lies
He said we would know Christians by the fruit they bear
Thus we're to bear fruit to set us apart from unbelievers out there
I pray not for just my family but for all mankind
That they would all seek your godly wisdom
May we all come boldly to your throne room
Trusting Christ as our ONLY mediator to come unto
So many are caught up still in paganism
Without truly seeking God's truth given them
You see Jesus is our High Priest that intercedes for us
Absolutely no prayers are answered unless it's through Christ Jesus
I tell you there's no short cuts to be in God's protection
It's a lie from the pits of hell that without Christ there is salvation
Jesus said in John 14:6 the biblical truth
If ye seek ye shall find His wisdom will be imparted to you
It's the blood of Jesus that cleanses all unrighteousness
It's through baptism that symbolizes our burial and raised up
It's our love for Jesus that fills us with loving kindness
It's the word of Jesus that renews our life unto righteousness
I pray the healing power of Jesus to lift you up
That you would feel His presence and invite Him in to sup
To know greater is He that's in you than he that's in the world
I pray life giving power manifest from what you've heard
