~ My Self Be Still ~

Setting here all by my self
thinking about life
and what I have left.
If I could catch a train
and leave it all behind
to travel the world over
and see what I could find.
~ ~ ~ ~
A new adventure a new place to see
a beautiful mountain
what a wonder that would be.
to sail a ship upon the ocean
or fly a plane
Oh what a notion.
~ ~ ~ ~
But I think I will stay right here
with all my loved ones so dear.
I will quite my wondering mind
rest my weary soul.
And still my restless spirit
and let peace unfold.
