I Usually Don't Write About Lovei usually don't write about intimate relationships, time has come to release one of MichaelKamau's love PROSE first i must go to the nearest flower garden, ignore sharp thorns and select a blooming red ROSE as a gift for all the lonely ladies... this poem is dedicated to THOSE what lovers have, only poetic metaphor can DESCRIBE a husband comes home late from work, his wife puts on a sexy outfit and HIDE he counts to ten, then open his EYES... she's standing directly in front of him they hold each other tight, then laugh, kiss, CRY their tears of joy are dedicated to the ones who rarely experience passion and TOGETHERNESS the ones who do not have a significant other the ones who seem to be devoid of TENDERNESS meanwhile, a humble poet applaud all those who are truly in love and are able to stay in tuned with their everyday BUSINESS please EXCUSE, sorry for being RUDE but i need to interrupt with this personal INTERLUDE... i promise to be quick and SMOOTH; personally, instead of being in LOVE, i'd rather stand underneath a leafy tree at dusk, just to say goodnight to the mourning DOVE and for those who are still in search OF, is it really worth getting drunk every weekend down at the local PUB? don't allow that first 'dance' to turn into a sexually transmitted one night 'stand' after the lights go out at the south side singles CLUB! back to the subject at hand love is still the number one topic in literary ART poets, singers and script writers has always offered stories about a lover and their SWEETHEART i'm an unpublished poet, i usually don't write about love. if i wish to see my books in print or online, i guess i'd better START Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
