Firmly Rooted Prayer
Open Your ear to hear my voice,
So you can hear that I rejoice;
And turn Your eyes over towards me,
As You give an answer to me.
You know I am poor and in need,
Since I do not have any greed;
For You know my true desire,
And just what I must acquire.
Because my faith does firmly root,
Knowing I have abundant fruit;
I never will hunger or thirst,
Since I am keeping my Lord first.
I let You to be in control.
And so You are keeping my soul;
For I will always remain true,
And unceasingly follow You.
O my God the jubilation,
For giving me the salvation;
As its calming effects give hope,
Throughout these stressful times to cope.
You are good to me O my Lord,
And You will never be ignored;
In a rapport that will not end,
Not just as God but as a friend.
