An ethereal ribbon of golden light
slices through his very being
as he quietly ponders eternal life.
The cross of Christ looms large in his
sight calling him to accept the gift
that was bought there just for him.
Softly the Savior's voice calls out
and a nail scarred hand reaches silently
out of the heavens and takes his wavering hand.
Gently a sweet soft voices echoes in his
ears offering him the blood bought gift
that will bring him security for all eternity.
Slowly the words take hold and his soul leaps
with gratitude at the marvelous gift offered.
Silently his head bows and his heart opens as
he shouts to the heavens at last accepting the
wonderful free gift of salvation.
