 Mourning the Boss
Often I have wondered about change
And its relationship with loss
And although the unknown can be strange
You always end up boss

Boss of your fate, boss of your actions
Boss of your fears, Boss of your feelings
Boss of your relationships, boss of your emotions
But like all bosses you always reach your ceilings

Then someone takes over, accepts the change
Deals with your loss
Knowing it's strange
To mourn the boss
