A Cheerful Giver
Whoever sows sparingly,
Will not reap abundantly;
So whatever you do sow,
Will be all of what will grow.
Do with purpose in your heart,
Without grief what may depart;
Feeling no force or pressure,
In giving up some treasure.
God is pleased by a giver,
Who gladly gives some silver;
Than someone that is too bold,
Reluctantly pays some gold.
God is able to give back,
Ten fold from what you may lack;
With His grace in full measure,
Replenishing your treasure.
Even when times may seem tough,
God makes sure you have enough;
With ten percent off the top,
You will yield an ample crop.
Through all this work with living,
Your wealth will grow through giving;
As love fills your heart to raise,
Your voice in singing a praise.
