I am a being
Split in two
One foot in the Dreamtime
One foot in Real-time
Spirit
And flesh
Two made whole
In one Manea.
Once upon a time
The two worlds
Were One
In the First Age
Where Spirit Beings
And Human Beings
Could see
And feel
Interact
And touch
One another.
Then came
The Sundering
And the Dreamtime
And Reality
Were cleaved
In two…
As were we all.
The traces of which
Can still be found
Amongst the dead
Whose skulls
Lay open
Two worlds
Living behind
Our foreheads.
There is a reason
The world takes it out of us
And Sleep and Dreamtime
Gives it back to us.
More than adequate sleep
Adequate dreamtime
Restores our inner spirit
And body
Happiness depends upon it
Whatever praises
We sing about being real
Or realistic
It is our Dreams
And Dream worlds
Which have a power
No amount of reality
Can grant…
So take my hand
Leave your body behind
To renew for a time
And Dance with me
In the Dreamtime
Where we can find
The answers
Reality dares us
To solve.
We Human Beings
Are made of two worlds
And we need each other
To be whole
To complete the Dreams
Of The Divine
Playing out
On the playground
Of our Lives…
Dreams are made Real
And in the end
This is what makes us feel
Complete.
