A Solemn Profession
God gave His Holy Spirit,
For being our teacher;
Teaching us much good merit,
As to what life should feature.
Even though some have been rude,
God still caters to their need;
For enough water and food,
Also being there to lead.
Always there to give support,
Touring the waste land of life;
During times we have to sort,
Through the toils and the strife.
There is nothing that we lack,
From our head to the feet;
Having clothes on our back,
And a place for our seat.
Just like the stars in Heaven,
God has made us His children;
A route to rebirth given,
As to never abandon.
Many talk as times are tough,
Not having all that they need;
But I say we have enough,
The excess is merely greed.
