No longer do you have to roam
Come rest here next to me
I'll tell you of a sacred home
Luminous- with perpetual shine
Built by master carpenter
With tender hands divine.
There is one door to enter through
One door only … pure and true
We are all children in this place
Brought in by love
And saved by grace.
Bread and wine you'll always find
Blessed tables and gold chairs
Music playing
Family praying
And angels on the stairs.
Jesus lit this house with light
He is the lamp that burns so bright
Jesus touched our heart with song
That fills the air all the day long.
Come closer friend and look around
To know this Home's on sacred ground
To Jesus, our Saviour
we'll always cleave
The home He built ...
we'll receive
and we never,
ever have to
leave.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle
were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not
made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan,
earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with
our house which is from heaven:
