Hold on Loosely
Listening to .38 Special in the background,
Relaxing my grasp on the moment that I desire.
Releasing myself into the reality that is my life;
Without control, without guidance,
I hold on loosely.
Freedom surrounds me and encompasses me,
I am in the dharma that is my personal destiny.
In the raging river I throw my paddle overboard;
No longer fighting for my way,
I hold on loosely.
Swept away by the currents of my life I float,
Without any fear of where I am going, I just am.
Boldly I shout into the future without bondage,
I am free, I am without shackles,
I hold on loosely.
