Songs of Life
ANNIE
The animals came to Poland.
They walked there two by two.
And when they got to Poland,
They knew what they should do.
They asked where was that Annie,
Who played the violin?
And when they found that Annie,
They began to grin.
"A penny for your music", they asked,
and they began to sing.
They stomped their feet and clapped their hands
Till Annie's ears did ring.
Anne laughed and played a song,
The music was loud and clear.
The animals danced and sang along
With Polish Puppeteers.
When morning came they all went home.
The dawn brought bright sun beams.
And Annie slept at home that day,
Surrounded by her dreams.
They walked there two by two.
And when they got to Poland,
They knew what they should do.
They asked where was that Annie,
Who played the violin?
And when they found that Annie,
They began to grin.
"A penny for your music", they asked,
and they began to sing.
They stomped their feet and clapped their hands
Till Annie's ears did ring.
Anne laughed and played a song,
The music was loud and clear.
The animals danced and sang along
With Polish Puppeteers.
When morning came they all went home.
The dawn brought bright sun beams.
And Annie slept at home that day,
Surrounded by her dreams.
