ALL DAY LONG I PRAY
As for me, I will call upon God;
and the LORD shall save me.
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray,
and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
How good to me THOU ART
If my days were spent
thinking upon YOUR wondrous works
dispersed to those who call upon THY NAME
there would be no time to doubt
no time to despair
Who am I that I should have
this privileged to sit before YOU
and tell of all my fears?
Who am I that YOU should not only listen
but answer according to THY will?
I have tasted and tested
I've tried YOU
and YOUR TRUE
I am humbled each time
I come in YOUR presence
my dirty feet stand on HOLY ground
yet I enter YOUR throne room
fully confident of meeting YOU here
How can I teach my soul
to stay in THY COURTS
all the day long?
How can I
say all morning all evening
and all of noontime
I will pray and cry aloud
for YOU shall hear
my voice?
ALL DAY LONG I PRAY
