††† My Walk
††† My Walk †††
It's at this time of my life
when in reflection my time plays
knowing my days are numbered
to fewer and fewer days
With so may years passed
so many roads walked
so much said
so much untalked
I would hope my Love has shown
to those held so deep in my heart
I pray my actions revealed
Your presence from the start
This road we call life
is rocky at times
Some steep mountains
we all have to climb
When I look at the stormy clouds
and compare to the times so high
My life has been so rich
because of the walk of You and I
In times of trial
and when I am in need
on bended knee
To You I always plead
It is when I see
but one set of prints in the sand
I feel Your awesome love
and cling tightly to Your hand
It is to You that I turn
When I feel I can not go on
It is always You
I know I can depend upon
My Family and Friends
are my life's pleasures
It is because of only You
I have such earthly treasures
I pray that long beyond my passing
My love of You
will spill upon others
in the things that I now do
So in times of trial and of joy
In silence and when I need to talk
It is with you my precious Savior
who beside me always walks.
