Walking with you

                Walking with you       May 16,2009

If you were here today you'd hear me say I'll proudly walk with you
You could show me the places when you were young that you knew
To the places that hurt you and to the ones that were good
Show me your good times and the times with no food
Show me the old school where you went as a boy
Tell me, please tell me about your Christmas toy
I'd love to walk with you in your good times and bad
When you smiled as a lad and sometimes were sad
Tell me about being good and not being bad
How did you make it, your stories so sad
If you were here today I'd walk with you proudly my Irish Grandad
