WHITE COTTON

White cotton and a staff
Liberate India
White is the color
Of all that's shining
Good angels
Bad uprisings
Religion against religion
Let it go by
Quiet silent war
No white cotton left
To bandage the
Wounded
No staff to
Aide us in our walk
Away from English
Rule
Still so many religions
Pushing invisible
Wall
Fighting to object
No one can take away
Faith
Perhaps religion has zero
To roll
Where all is a farce
Going down running fast
Progress rears it head
Flowing colors brilliantly
Gandhi's white linen is lost
As his illuminating spirit
From heaven calls to me
You keep your peace and
Love and happiness
Colorfully glowing
By your white linen
Written on white
Paper
Woman you laugh
Feel the sun
In the heat of a
India in cotton
Permeates my soul
Through clouds
From sun.
