Ink
It has been a little over a year since my last tattoo;
I ventured over to Star City for some ink that is new.
My left calf was today's target site for the design;
My body is becoming more colorful, all idea's of mine.
A pirate interpretation, more beautiful than you think,
As Jason engulfed his creativity, making artwork in ink.
The colors reached into a gentler side of this tradition;
The Jolly Roger's came to life on my calf in his rendition.
The gentle stinging of the ink filled needles into my skin;
Reaching into his soul, filling the tattoo with a life within.
My overpowering need for this sensation today was filled;
The ink mixed with creativity; I looked in the mirror, thrilled.
