Fleeing Sin
Evil acts of the skin,
And other unclean things,
Are causing you to sin;
The perverse pleasure brings.
You go and light the fires,
If pleasing to the eye;
Causing your desires,
To burn with outright lies.
For you are putting trust,
Corrupted by your heart;
Which turns into a lust,
That will never depart.
You say that you believe,
That you walk in the light;
But your mouth does deceive,
With darkness of the night.
Allow your behavior,
As a child of light;
And follow the Savior,
Do what pleases His sight.
So do not be a fool,
That is causing you shame;
Avoid what makes you drool,
And let Christ light your flame.
