THE GOOD THE BAD AND DOWNRIGHT UGLYThis describes my old girlfriends I went on classmates dot com There was Mary one of the pretty young things My oh my but what to a woman age brings She was naive cute and a little silly She now lives in a trailer park plays rockabilly Now she was livid when I broke off the engagement Sent me a wedding announcement in her state of derangement She was marrying this southern dude named buck Getting out of that commitment was pure luck At least he doesn't have much of a dental bill Most of her teeth are arranged nightly on the window sill But Alfreda now is as pretty this day as she then She walked around showed me what I missed with a grin But the bad is Judy who cheated on me She looks downright Witch like on husband number three Now Veronica is the one girl I always will miss And to think in the time I knew her we never did kiss All these girls never knew that I was told I would die And rather than tell each the truth I made up a lie Each I met serving my country in worlds far away And each was a romance I was sure I would marry some day Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
