Like a sound,like a charm
from the air to my arm
cheerful sounds heard again
humour racked to the brains
shining eyes seeking a place
to express a quiet face
A nose straight but for a bend
Of a tongue and an accent
It would creak and then chirp
not exactly like a bird
yet heard
and it brought joy not hate
from straight teeth to seemly breath
legs that stood on the road
and half a pair of worn shoes
asked for repair
and chasing once more
affection and a tone
still unforgotten till this time
An accent that sounded so divine
