Jehovah is far from the wicked ones, but the prayer
of the righteous ones he hears
Isn't it a great comfort to know that God hears our prayers
God answers prayers of the righteous ones
the ones doing his will and not there own
the ones that put him first in all things
do you believe that God answers everyone's prayers?
some would say yes, but I say No!....the scripture clearly
says Jehovah God is far from the wicked one's, but the prayer
of the righteous he hears...
For instance, what if your child continued to disobey you,
and became more and more rebellious....
Then turn around and ask you if you would buy them
a car.....would you buy it? or would you let it go
go unheard until they learn to be obedient...
When our children learn to follow the rules and become
obedient it is then when we reward them....if we continue
to reward them through out all their bad behavior, their lack
of respect for us...what message are we sending out to our children..
we're telling them...
that they can do anything they want and there will be no consequences
for their bad behavior.....
How do you think Jehovah feels when we are disobedient towards him?
should he answer the prayers of the one's that shows no love, respect or obedience
for him.....Jehovah God loves us, but just like a mother and father discipline their kids
for bad behavior.....same way with God.....we are like babies to him....and we need to
depend upon him for all things.....we are all sinners but we can take in Knowledge of the true God
and begin learning how to turn from our sinful ways...and we can do that by taking in knowledge of God almighty
and by us taking in that knowledge it begin to build our faith, the more we take in the stronger our faith grows.
and it will cause us to come into repentance....which will help us turn from our wicked ways.
John 3:16 tells us " For God loved the world so that he sent his only begotten son in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life"....that along tells me that God don't want to see any of us perish...he wants us to live forever...God did not have to do that for us...but he did because he loves us dearly...and Jesus was willing to be sacrified for our sakes. That is what you call unconditional love..
Something that we as imperfect humans lack....Jesus came to show us the way...but many choose not to follow. Many say they love God with there whole heart, mind and soul, but continue to do their own thing...
Do you know what it means to truly love God? 1st John 5:3 tells us "that we must observe his commandments,
and yet his commandments are not burdensome"
So I encourage you today to stop doing your own thing and start doing God's thing....for your way will only lead you to be cut off from living life forever...start observing God's commandments....that your prayers don't go unheard
