Time's Refrain
Oh, how I gave to time the chance
to change destiny in advance
to employ a worthwhile gain
only to leave with this refrain
Time so long when work we dread
Time too short before we're dead
Time the ruler of my tomorrow
Time the keeper of joy and sorrow
Give I may, give I must
Give to time my ultimate trust
in all I do and all I say
that tomorrow extends from today

Oh, that I should be so blessed
by passing daily times test
and know I can't change destiny
in thanks for time that's left to me
