 TAKE    A    WALK
Just take a walk down any road in England
And after brushing all the litter away
Ignore the broken windows and graffiti
Those asleep on park benches who have come to stay

Pretend you haven't seen the ones pleading for money
“'Cos we have a family of eight to feed at home”
Gangs of feral youths out to cause trouble
Without reproach they are quite free to roam

If a young lass isn't walking down the street with baby buggy
Another bairn hanging idly from her skirt
She will be wearing something hardly negligible
Flicking false eyelashes and aiming to flirt

It doesn't seem to matter if you cause a ‘hit and run'
Or if you murder and decapitate the head
Falling foul of the ludicrous police force
Is something to be proud of instead

Oh, what happened to the ‘Great' in Britain
Even our ‘honourable' MP's are taking liberties
Claiming false ‘expenses' too ridiculous to mention
All in all it's certainly beyond my comprehension!
