To You Who It Concerns
Hello poet, who scans this site
Welcome dear friend who also writes
Their heart and soul so others might
Read works of art dreamed day and night
There is a banquet here to share
Some deep in thought, some simple wares
Each one unique as is each poet
A place called home, as authors know it
There are feelings poured out in letters
For worst for good and even better
Is how each soul will leave a piece
Of them, their work for all to feast
A heart where love is on a tear
Or life burdened by weight one bares
Ones trip walking upon some cloud
Few words whispered some soul allows
Moment for some to feel true peace
Reading feelings, secrets released
A joke poetic in form to poke
Fun at you in words to soak
There is a writers high for all
Their need demands for you to call
Upon their site as you did here
Maybe you'll smile or shed a tear
To you who it concerns dear friend
Read all you like as time you spend
Here or there in ones backyard
