Although as a child she was sexually abused
Her life story made her triumphant to minister to me too
Showing there's nothing that Jesus can't help you through
For our mess-with-age becomes a message to you
Our God uses brokeness in our life's messed up story
To help others overcome and to bring Him glory
Through the bible and down through history
Using the foolish and broken He brought forth victory
At the innocent age of six Anita accepted Jesus
The peace poured out would sustain making her victorious
Throughout her young adult life from God she did stray
Even getting into drugs to masque the pain in someway
Yet somehow she knew God's hand was on her life
For if not for Jesus' presence she wouldn't have survived
So now what the devil tried to destroy her with
God has raised up a ministry with and an anointed gift
Now a minister and author of "Jesus Loves Me" is Anita Ayers
Proving God can and will raise you up from the enemy's snares
From the moment I met Anita I felt a kindred spirit
Upon reading her book and the connections clarified it
Then today 6-1-09 I was blessed to see her on CTN -T.V.
After watching all kinds of emotions poured out of me
I began to share things with my husband like never before
Old wounds I was unaware of seem to surface more
My precious Sister in Christ I want you to know
I'm thankful God put you in my life for growth
Although I truly forgave my abuser many years ago
There was deep seeded emotions as my tears did flow
Your life and ministry is such a blessing to many
If not for your story delayed emotions could hinder healing
But that's Our God in His perfecting and refining
He'd use you to bring into light emotions I was hiding
I humbly thank-you my precious Sister in Christ
For being a faithful servant to bring healing in my life
To God Be The Glory Forevermore
I ask for your prayers as God completes and restores
