Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Without Judgement
They tell me I'll need a cape
To become invisible. I smile
At them; I've been invisible for
Years, blending in with walls,
Curtains and armchairs. I watch
Everyone assume the standard. I
Listen to their cackling, catch
Their backhanded compliments and
Giggle at their romance problems.
I play the cynic, I decide to hate
Them all, without judgement. I could
Never be "normal" like them. They
All touch and talk like they care;
I can see the digust for their peers.
Why would I want to be anything like a lie?
