Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Safe house
I run away to sanctuary.
My dreams harbor me from the fires
Started by careless beings.
They never get extinguished.
I'm forever fanning away the
Smoke, which chokes me
Gags me, suffocates me and
Compromises my vision.
I am so used to being so blind,
I hardly complain.
I let it all engulf me,
Swallow me, a tiny morsel
Of a person compared
To everyone else.
I am too small,
Too busy stepping on my own feet...
I long to be more than less than...
