~^~The Scribal Anointing~^~
God always calls and chooses scribes
To read and record His heart.
Those endowed with prophetic writing,
He sanctifies and sets apart.
God works in the exact same manner.
His methods never changed.
All apostles, prophets, ministers
Are still spiritually ordained.
He sets scribes in creative arts
To woo and win a blinded world.
And to fortify the faithful
With each message they unfurl.
Not meant to add or take away
From His proven written Word,
But simply to enhance it and to
Let His loving thoughts be heard.
His thoughts are higher than the thoughts
Of malfunctioned mortal man
His ways above mere comprehension
He's The Creator...the great I Am!
Yet He has established patterns.
First with the old Israeli tribes.
And one of these set patterns
Is the anointing of the scribes.
From the records kept by Abraham
To the Acts of the Apostles
His fingerprints hang on each word
As they do on all the fossils.
If He seems silent it's because
Not many listen hard today
Yet a prophetic voice or writer
Still puts His message on display.
Like a warning to be watchful
Or a warm and ardent sign
To portray His everlasting love...
To signal man he's on God's mind.
To some this seems like foolishness..
Just a con, a fake, a bribe.
But don't undermine an involved God
Or the anointing of a scribe.
