Time tells all within ones soul
Love but once to have and hold
So try I do to not awaken
From this dream and year it's taken
We celebrate today this year
Our special bond, my loving dear
Who's given me more than these thoughts
You dear love fate me has brought
There are few gifts that we can share
The best of them in heart now wear
It's you Delores the light within
Our heart once lost, you've taken in
You gave me breath and reason to
Love but once and trust in you
That's why we chase today our cause
Is you we love and my because
Because of you, life is good
God knows the test of time withstood
Waiting, thinking you'd never come
Show up to fix a heart undone
Fix you would, become the part
Of us that now can't live apart
From you who makes more than complete
The me who has the best of sweets
Love but once is mine today
We pray that it will stay this way
As time does tick the years away
