His name, Cody-Li
At 5 years old he'd leave your side
A prince, loved son who now abides
Above, beyond, in greater place
The past today, is him you trace
Too young to lose, yet lose you would
His company and if you could
You'd turn back time to yesterday
When then was when a better day
You brought forth life with her you loved
She too does smile from skies above
You she loved with son in hand
You lover, teenager, grown man
Both would leave to seek Gods face
But not return to your embrace
Leaving for now what you can't see
A place called home, eternity
They wait I'm sure when one day too
My friend named Lee will rise up to
Beyond great clouds where love does reign
Where no one weeps and feels no pain
Years have passed but thoughts of them
Will never leave your heart that mends
As memories upon you wear
Of wife and son in life yours bared
