~Breath Of Life~
I ventured in a world that was filled with darkness
because it hid my most deepest pain
who I had become, my inner self was ashamed
Now I'm wondering when will my life return
will I rise with inspiration and make a change, or
will I be lost forever with this pain
When will the windows of heaven pour out it's rain
and sustain... (my broken heart)
fear has birth in my heart
and the light is quickly fading leaving me in the dark
but there's a shadow of hope,softly whispering
don't give up... No!!!!!
I tried telling myself
I will wake from this darkness that's trying to steal my life
I will push through my trials walk out of my strife.
but my eyes were covered with a black veil
and every good thing I seem to touch, crumbled and failed
I didn't care rather I lived or died
cause when I called out for help..... no one replied
I was left alone, so darkness tended my cries
It's like my heart had vanished from the
face of the earth, and my soul was pleading
to return to dust
When I finally gave up, that shadow of hope within was lit
and my heart was hit with a thump,
something more powerful inside, wanted to live, to survive
so I snatched off that blacken veil and open my eyes.... And
for the first time, true tears begin to fall...for I had heard
my Father in heaven call....He sent his helper down to help me
rise above it all...
When I thought I had died inside a coffin of strife,
it was God blowing me a breath of life
