The Word Of God We Must Adhere
The back of the cross brought our healing
The front of the cross was salvation revealing
Oh praise you Jesus for both front and back
That you paid the cost that we should not lack
All we have to do is believe to receive
Above all the Holy Spirit do not grieve
For at the cross Jesus paid it all
Then sent the Holy Spirit for us to heed His call
He will comfort and guide us all the way
He'll even give us the words when we know not what to pray
He is that still small voice of conscience in man
He is the power that overcomes the evil at hand
When I think of all the gifts and benefits
It makes me wonder why any would grieve the Holy Spirit
Our Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever
Why not grab ahold of salvation the greatest miracle
I always feel led to relay the importance of God's word
Many are deprived cause God's word they've not heard
It's crucial to feed your spirit man that He can grow
Many have lack for the word of God they don't know
It doesn't take a mental giant to figure it out
We are in the last days the prophets talked about
Yet many are unaware cause they are blind
This being of their own choice in not seeking the divine
All prophecy has been fulfilled for Jesus' return
You'll find in Matthew 24 this truth to learn
It's perilous times we're now living in
The children of God must put their trust in Him
As in Psalm 91 He is our secret dwelling
Keeping us from all harm that is coming
For the world will be waxing colder
Now is the the time for God's people to become bolder
The enemy is on the loose to devour
We must use the word of God in this hour
There's spiritual warfare we will face
Guard your eyes and ear gates lest ye give satan place
We're more than conquerors through Christ Jesus
Only if we feed on His word and what He teaches
For this world system would have you get in fear
The word of God brings peace and joy to adhere

Heb.12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I am come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly.
Mark 4:11-14,24-25
11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the
mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without,
all these things are done in parables:
12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive;
and hearing they may hear, and not understand;
lest at any time they should be converted,
and their sins should be forgiven them.
13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable?
and how then will ye know all parables?
14The sower soweth the word.
24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear:
with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you:
and unto you that hear shall more be given.
25 For he that hath, to him shall be given:
and he that hath not,
from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
~You can read about the parable of the sower in full
if you wish at Mark 4:2-33~
