SWEET DREAM
My time with you in dreams
ends all too swiftly
and I yearn for
just one more
moment…
for there is no perfect place
I would rather be
than swept into
your arms again
kissing you
like that…
tenderly, you hold me close
and search my longing
eyes, then press your
lips to mine and
hold them softly
there…
please, tell me that it's real
and fill my days with
joy; there you'll be
quietly holding my
hand, carefully
holding my
heart…
